What is erythema gangrenosum?

Erythematous acromegaly belongs to a kind of peripheral vasodilatation dysfunction disease, manifested by extreme dilatation of capillaries at the distal end of the limb, which can be seen as localized redness, swelling, heat and pain of the skin. The etiology of this disease may be related to microcirculatory dysfunction caused by various reasons. 1. Basic etiology: it may be related to genetic factors, gene mutation, etc.; central nervous system, autonomic nervous system disorders, so that peripheral vasomotor dysfunction; certain diseases such as hypertension, heart failure, autoimmune diseases, carbon monoxide poisoning, etc., can also cause this disease; risk factors for the disease living environment is cold, fatigue, low immune system function, work and rest, and dietary irregularities. 2. Symptoms: The disease develops in summer and subsides in winter, with a slow progression. Patients show bilateral limbs symmetrical skin paroxysmal elevation of skin temperature, pain is paroxysmal burning pain, obvious at night. Cold water foot immersion, rest or elevation of the affected limbs can relieve the symptoms. Physical examination shows that the affected skin vessels are dilated and flushed, and the pulsations of the dorsalis pedis artery and posterior tibial artery are slightly enhanced.
