The side effects of paroxetine usually do not last long and usually disappear on their own after a week.
Paroxetine is mainly used to treat various types of depression, obsessive-compulsive neurosis, panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, and social phobia/social anxiety disorder.
Adverse symptoms such as sensory disturbances, sleep disturbances, dizziness, headache, head discomfort, dry mouth, dry stools, weakness, weight gain, sexual dysfunction, restlessness, nausea, and abdominal pain may occur with paroxetine.
It is contraindicated in persons with known hypersensitivity to this product and its ingredients. This product should not be used in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or methylthiopyridazine. If medication is required, use under the supervision of a physician.
