Where do osteomas usually grow?

Different pathological types of bone tumors occur in different parts of the body. Common bone tumors occur in the long bones of the lower limbs, femur, tibia and other parts of the body. 1. Osteochondroma, giant cell tumor of bone, osteosarcoma: they are found in the lower end of femur, upper end of tibia and other parts of the body. 2. Osteofibrosarcoma: it occurs in the epiphyses of the long bones of the limbs, and is most common in the proximal and distal parts of the femur. 3. Ewing’s sarcoma: it can occur in femur, tibia, ilium and scapula. 4. Chondrosarcoma: It occurs in the tubular bone of the hand and foot, and the localized cartilage hyperplasia forms a mass, which is generally benign. Osteoma usually grows in long bones such as femur, neck bone and humerus, which are rich in nutrients and the tumor proliferation is more active.
