Patients who have a constant lack of air in the nose can go to the hospital to complete the most basic tests such as anterior rhinoscopy, which may reveal that the patient has hypertrophy of the inferior turbinate or a deviated nasal septum. If the deviated septum is particularly obvious, surgery is often needed to correct it. If the inferior turbinate is enlarged bilaterally, saline and tretinoin nasal spray are used to reduce the size of the inferior turbinate bilaterally, thereby relieving the patient’s airlessness. If polyps are found in the nasal cavity during anterior rhinoscopy, it is recommended that the patient undergoes nasal endoscopy and CT of the nose to determine the exact extent and root of the polyps, and then the patient is advised to undergo surgical treatment. Under the nasal endoscopy, the polyp inside the patient’s nose should be completely removed, and after active treatment, the patient’s stuffy nose should be significantly improved.
