What’s wrong with red and itchy skin in children

Erythema with itching in children is most commonly caused by eczema or other allergic causes, especially in children who sweat and are prone to erythematous eczema if their clothes are not changed in a timely manner or if their skin is not kept dry. This condition is also common in children with urticaria, which often has a history of exposure to allergenic substances, such as pollen and milk, and often has an acute onset, combined with skin eruptions and itching. In addition, some erythema may be wine-colored and can become itchy when scratched, which is essentially a vascular malformation.
