The effects of polyenyl phosphatidylcholine injection are manifested in two aspects: First, it can bind to the liver cell membrane and play the role of stabilizing the liver cell membrane, which helps the recovery of liver cells, promotes the regeneration of liver tissues and restores the energy balance of the liver. Secondly, polyenyl phosphatidylcholine can be secreted into bile, which can stabilize bile, thus reducing the formation of gallstones. Polyenyl phosphatidylcholine can be used for various types of liver diseases, including chronic hepatitis, acute hepatitis, acute hepatic necrosis, various types of cirrhosis, hepatic coma, and hepatic encephalopathy. It can be used for the treatment of fatty liver, however, it is a little weaker for fatty liver and not as effective as the treatment of hepatitis. In addition, polyenyl phosphatidylcholine can be used for cholestasis, hepatotoxicity, prevention of recurrence of gallstones, etc.
