Can Hot Steam Treat Chronic Obstructive Lung?

Hot steam is not a treatment for COPD.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by persistent airflow limitation due to age, heredity, and factors such as long-term smoking and air pollution, resulting in chronic cough, sputum, and dyspnea as the main manifestations.
Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease should follow the doctor’s instructions for long-term medication and regular follow-up examinations, and should not be treated by hot steam or other irrational prescriptions, which generally cannot improve the patient’s symptoms, but rather delay the condition due to unstandardized treatment.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary treatment first needs to reduce risk factors, such as smoking cessation, strengthen occupational protection. Secondly, bronchodilators (e.g. salbutamol, ipratropium bromide, etc.) and glucocorticoids (budesonide) can be used to actively treat the disease during the remission period, and during the acute exacerbation period, anti-infective drugs can be added to actively treat the disease when there are clear indications of bacterial infection.
Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease need to consult a doctor and be actively treated under the supervision of a physician. The above medications should be used under the supervision of a physician.
