Asymptomatic TB is relatively easy to treat. Patients with asymptomatic tuberculosis are usually detected during a physical examination, and they do not show common manifestations of tuberculosis such as low-grade fever, fatigue, or night sweats (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, but stops after waking up). As the virulence of the bacillus of tuberculosis infecting this type of patients is weak, the number of infected bacilli is not large, and the patients have strong resistance, the treatment is therefore relatively easy. The principle of treatment for patients without symptoms is the same as that of other types of tuberculosis: once diagnosed, treatment should be carried out as early as possible; more than two types of anti-tuberculosis drugs should be used in combination therapy, such as isoniazid and rifampicin, etc.; and the whole course of drugs should be taken in accordance with the doctor’s prescription in the appropriate amount and regularly, so as to avoid stopping the drugs without reaching the prescribed course of treatment. In daily life, pay attention to dietary intake of high-protein, high-nutritional food, such as eggs, fish, shrimp, dairy, etc.; ensure sufficient sleep, and regular disinfection and ventilation of the room. If physical examination reveals signs, test results or imaging manifestations of suspected tuberculosis, please go to the hospital in time.
