Granules inside the breast during breastfeeding are considered to be the following: First, it may be due to the patient’s milk not being discharged smoothly, resulting in milk stagnation blocking the mammary glands and thus a painful sensation in the breast. Second, if the patient has particles inside both breasts, and the distribution is relatively uniform in size, and no other symptoms such as pain occur, it is considered normal fat particles and does not require treatment. If the particles in the breast are large, hard to the touch and few in number, they may have breast fibroids and need to be surgically removed. If the pain is accompanied by pain, it may be due to mastitis caused by bacterial infection during breastfeeding, or it may be due to inflammation of the breast ducts or breast enlargement. In view of the special situation during breastfeeding, it is best to go to the hospital for further examination and remember not to use private medication.
