Rehabilitation training after femoral head replacement mainly includes joint mobility and muscle strength training.
1. Muscle strength training:
(1) Ankle pump training: the ankle joint and toes are stretched dorsally with force, and then relaxed after 5 seconds, and then plantar flexed with force for 5 seconds. It can effectively exercise the muscles of the calf, prevent atrophy and also promote blood circulation in the whole lower limb, prevent vascular embolism, and promote the recovery of swelling and pain at the end of the fracture.
(2) Quadriceps and gluteal muscle training: common isometric contraction training of quadriceps, gluteal muscle tightening and relaxation training. In the later stage, resistance training can be carried out to further enhance the muscle strength of the patient, together with the training such as walking training, daily life training, etc., to promote the recovery of normal function of the patient.
2. Joint mobility training: Early passive training is the main focus, with the help of rehabilitation therapists to carry out passive activities of the hip and knee joints, to maintain the normal mobility of the patient’s joints, to prevent the emergence of joint stiffness. Gradually transition to active training to promote the recovery of normal function.
Rehabilitation is a gradual process, it is recommended that patients maintain a good attitude, actively cooperate with professional doctors to develop individualized training programs, do not blindly self-training to avoid adverse consequences.
