How many months can you live with advanced bone metastases from nasopharyngeal cancer?

At present, there is no authoritative scientific basis to judge how long nasopharyngeal cancer can live after advanced bone metastasis. If patients are actively treated, the general five-year survival rate is around 40%-60%, and the survival time is different due to different physical condition of individuals.
Nasopharyngeal cancer is a kind of malignant tumor occurring in mucosal epithelium of nasopharynx, which is one of the common malignant tumors in China. Most of the nasopharyngeal cancers are low-differentiated squamous carcinoma, and radiation therapy is preferred. The 5-year survival rate of early nasopharyngeal cancer after radiotherapy can reach 80%. For patients who still have residual localized rhinitis or local recurrence after radiotherapy, they can cooperate with surgery or radiotherapy.
The survival time of nasopharyngeal cancer patients has a great influence on patients’ own physical quality and mood. It is suggested that nasopharyngeal cancer patients should keep optimistic mindset and set up confidence in overcoming the disease during the treatment period, meanwhile, strengthen exercise and eat some nutritious food appropriately, so as to increase confidence in fighting the disease.
For nasopharyngeal cancer patients who are already undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy, they should pay attention to light diet, reduce the intake of stimulating food, and eat fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins to add nutrients to the body. Pay attention to rest and exercise to increase the resistance of the body and prolong the survival time.
