What are diffuse changes in the liver?

Diffuse hepatic lesions are a manifestation of hepatic tissue lesions on imaging, and this disease is very common in patients with hepatitis B. Imaging changes of diffuse liver lesions are commonly seen in fatty liver, hepatic hyperpigmentation, and cirrhosis. Common causes are: parasites, hematologic diseases, cirrhosis, inflammation, and metabolic abnormalities. If the body consumes alcohol for a long time it can lead to damage to hepatocytes in the liver, which can stimulate a large proliferation of fibrous tissue in the liver, leading to diffuse liver disease in the long term. Detection of diffuse liver disease is usually done by parenchymal echo, surface echo and hepatic rim morphology. If the disease is mild, it can be treated conservatively; if it is severe, surgical treatment is required. Patients with diffuse liver lesions should pay more attention to their diet and rest. It is recommended to consume a high-fiber, low-salt diet, and not to drink alcohol in daily life. Moreover, it is recommended to develop good habits of life and rest and not to overexert oneself. This can protect the liver, and you can do some exercises to improve the immunity of the body.
