Can brain death from lung cancer be cured?

Brain death from lung cancer cannot be cured. Brain death caused by lung cancer refers to the irreversible state of loss of function of the whole brain including the brain stem, which generally cannot be cured. Brain death is caused by the brain being in a state of oxygen deficiency for a long time leading to necrosis of the cerebral cortex, which is no longer able to breathe on its own, and the body’s reflexes have disappeared, which means that it is dead. The determination of brain death needs to go through a rigorous examination and judgment process, so if it is determined that the patient is brain dead, it is generally impossible to wake up, nor is it possible to come back to life, and brain death can not be completely saved. Only with the support of respirator and other medical equipments, each organ of the body can be kept alive for as long as one month, until the heartbeat is completely gone, and each organ can no longer survive. Therefore, it is recommended that lung cancer patients be detected, diagnosed and treated early to avoid brain death.
