What to do if your fingernail is empty

Empty fingernails are commonly associated with nail fungal disease and need to be treated with antifungal medications.
Infections of the nail plate and subnail tissues caused by various fungi are collectively known as nail fungus disease. Fungal invasion of the nail plate and nail bed will affect the texture, color, and character of the nails, resulting in empty nails.
Amorphophallus application and cyclopiazone nail coating can be given for topical application, combined with oral itraconazole and terbinafine. Liver function should be monitored during the use of medication, and the medication should be used in sufficient quantity and duration to avoid recurrence of the disease.
Finger nails may also be caused by other diseases, it is recommended to consult a doctor to clarify the diagnosis, and follow the doctor’s instructions to use medication.
