Can chronic enteritis and diarrhea be cured?

Whether chronic enteritis diarrhea can be cured can not be generalized. For chronic enteritis with a clear cause, it can be cured after standardized treatment.
Chronic enteritis can be divided into chronic infectious enteritis and chronic non-specific inflammatory bowel disease (including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease) according to the etiology. Different etiologies have different prognostic effects.
1 Chronic enteritis: the etiology is clear, mainly caused by bacterial, viral, microbial, and parasitic infections. After analyzing the etiology, controlling inflammation, and symptomatic treatment, such as cephalosporin, praziquantel, systemic penicillin, and amphotericin to fight infections, the prognosis is generally good, and can be cured. The application of antimicrobial drugs may have adverse reactions, need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
2. Ulcerative colitis: the cause of the disease is not yet clear, and is currently believed to be the result of multiple factors. Chronic course, mostly more than 4~6 weeks, and for lifelong recurrent disease. Mild prognosis is better, heavy, acute onset, accompanied by other complications and older than 60 years old, the prognosis is not good, difficult to cure.
3. Crohn’s disease: the cause of the disease is not yet clear, and most of the drug treatment to control the disease activity, but easy to relapse, more difficult to cure.
It is recommended that patients consult a doctor in a timely manner, after a clear diagnosis of standardized treatment, in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease, the specific prognosis can consult a professional physician.
