How long does dapoxetine work?

It is impossible to determine exactly how long Dapoxetine will work, as it depends on the patient’s condition. It needs to be taken about 1 to 3 hours before sexual intercourse, and the recommended maximum dosage frequency is every 24 hours, under the supervision of a physician. Dapoxetine hydrochloride binds to serum proteins after entering the bloodstream and is rapidly distributed throughout the body, inhibiting the reabsorption of 5-hydroxytryptamine and prolonging the ejaculatory reflex, thus treating poor ejaculatory control and premature ejaculation. The drug is indicated for male patients between the ages of 8 and 64. Adverse reactions such as fatigue, headache, nausea, insomnia, diarrhea, vertigo and even fainting may occur after use of the drug. Because it may cause vertigo or fainting, it should be used with caution in patients who need to drive vehicles or operate machinery. The drug should not be taken with alcohol. The drug interacts with cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, thioridazine and other drugs. It is contraindicated in the following cases: if you are taking thioridazine, monoamine oxidase inhibitors or within 2 weeks of stopping the drug; if you are taking a potent cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitor; if you have seizures or unstable epilepsy; if you have a cardiac pathology; if you have a moderately severe hepatic impairment; if you have a severe renal impairment; if you have an allergy to the drug. Use with caution in the following conditions: taking moderate cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors; mild to moderate renal impairment. If you need to use the drug, please under the guidance of a doctor, strictly follow the doctor’s instructions to take medication, do not self-medication.
