Snoring is commonly known as snoring, in the eyes of the general public, this is a common phenomenon, some people even think that this is the performance of a good sleep, sweet sleep. In fact, it is not. Snoring can be divided into two categories: the first category, light and even snoring after sleeping, or occasional snoring (such as fatigue, snoring after drinking alcohol), known as benign snoring. In the second category, snoring that is not only loud (generally over 60 decibels) but also uneven when falling asleep, and always stops breathing while typing; or breathing stops for ten seconds or so, and then wakes up violently and gasps for air rapidly, is called malignant snoring. By the 8th month of pregnancy, the number of pregnant women with malignant snoring can be as high as 20%. At this time, pregnant women can have poor breathing and frequent apnea, which leads to the lack of oxygen in the tissues of the body. At the same time, the carbon dioxide produced in the body cannot be discharged out of the body in time, which will reflexively cause excessive secretion of catecholamines in the body, resulting in vasoconstriction of the heart, brain, lungs and other systemic blood vessels, which will threaten the health of mother and child in a long time. For pregnant women snoring, especially malignant snoring, prevention should be put in the first place. First of all, from the first day of pregnancy, it is necessary to prevent the body from gaining weight, because obesity is one of the important causes of snoring. In terms of diet, it is necessary to pay attention to a reasonable and balanced dietary structure, and to have three meals a day in moderation. Eat vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin A, vitamin C and folic acid, and try to eat less or no high-fat and high-sugar food to avoid obesity caused by excess calories. Secondly, if a pregnant woman is already fat, she should do moderate exercise under the guidance of her doctor to lose weight and benefit the health of mother and child. When sleeping, it is more appropriate to take the left-sided position during pregnancy. Try not to take the supine position, because the fat throat muscles and tongue root can easily fall back and block the airway, and cause snoring. Finally, it is worth mentioning that pregnant women must quit smoking and drinking, and should not take sleeping pills, because they will aggravate snoring and affect the normal development of the fetus. If the snoring is still serious after the above efforts, the pregnant woman should go to hospital for consultation and treatment.
