HPV or TCT first

HPV test and TCT are both cervical cancer screening tests that can be done at the same time. Of course, when they are done together, TCT is usually done first and then HPV test is done. Because TCT is done by brushing the cells on the surface of the cervix, while HPV test is usually done in a deeper location, taking cells from the cervical canal and the endocervix for testing, TCT is usually done first and then HPV test. For women who have normal sex life, it is recommended to do cervical cancer screening every year. TCT is required every year, and HPV test is usually decided according to the situation. If you have high risk, it is recommended to do it every year. If you do not have high risk factors and the HPV test is (-) in that year, you can do it every other year.
