Nosebleeds in the middle of the night are mainly related to trauma, sinusitis, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and other reasons, but we can not rule out the possibility of other diseases, it is recommended that further examination to clarify the cause.
1. Trauma: external impact on the nose, resulting in damage to the mucous membrane inside the nose, thus causing nosebleeds, usually through local cold compresses can be relieved.
2. 3. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura: a bleeding disorder caused by excessive destruction of platelets, resulting in a reduction of platelets in the peripheral blood, leading to nosebleeds. Generally, it can be treated by drugs, such as dexamethasone and prednisone, to stimulate platelet production and relieve the condition.
