The purpose of taking progesterone after ovulation promotion is to prevent infertility due to premature atrophy of the corpus luteum, which clinically causes progesterone deficiency. Therefore, progesterone is taken orally after ovulation promotion, mainly to supplement progesterone in clinical practice. It is recommended to start taking progesterone orally after follicle rupture, once a day, 2 capsules at a time, for 10-12 days continuously. During the period of progesterone, the basal body temperature tends to rise, usually around 37°C. Clinically, if this high temperature state lasts for more than 15 days, the possibility of pregnancy is higher.
