Adults, what are the treatments for intestinal spasms

Adults’ intestinal cramps are mainly caused by abdominal cold and gastroenteritis, etc. The treatment methods mainly include physical methods and medication methods.
1. Abdominal cold: when the patient’s intestinal spasm is caused by abdominal cold, hot compresses on the abdomen can accelerate blood circulation in the abdomen and reduce intestinal spasm. By massaging the abdomen, help the intestinal tract to restore the normal peristaltic rhythm; by taking appropriate antispasmodic drugs to relieve muscle contraction and reduce intestinal spasm, such as scopolamine, belladonna tablets and so on.
2. Gastroenteritis: when patients with gastroenteritis caused by the above discomfort, it is recommended to take acid-suppressing drugs to reduce the irregular secretion of gastric acid, such as omeprazole, rabeprazole and so on.
If the symptoms of intestinal cramps in adults are not relieved, or accompanied by other symptoms, they should go to the hospital in time, and give targeted treatment after clarifying the cause. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
