I had a cervical polyp before my period, but it was gone after my period.

If you have a cervical polyp before menstruation and you don’t have it after menstruation, it is possible that the cervical polyp is close to the uterine cavity, or the polyp may be small and fall out on its own.
1. If the cervical polyp grows close to the uterine cavity, before the menstrual period, the endometrial gland secretion is more vigorous, the cervical opening is more loose, the polyp will often be outwardly out of the polyp, it is easy to observe the polyp. After the menstrual period, the cervical opening is relatively tight, the cervical polyp may not be outward, it is not easy to see, will mistakenly think that the cervical polyp is no longer.
2. Some patients, due to the relatively small size of the cervical polyps, with the onset of menstruation, the polyps fall off, so after menstruation will find that the polyps are gone.
Further gynecological examination, colposcopy or hysteroscopy to clarify whether there are still polyps, found that there is a relatively large size of the cervical polyps, should be early surgical treatment.
