Oral radiographs are required for painful occlusion of teeth. If a tooth root is fractured longitudinally or transversely causing painful chewing, it needs to be extracted and restored as soon as possible. If there is a low-density shadow area in the apical part of the tooth, which continuously destroys the alveolar bone and produces a lot of inflammatory secretions, pulpal drainage is required, the root canal is thoroughly flushed with hydrogen peroxide solution, camphorated phenol sponges are placed to drain the tooth, and the root canal treatment of the affected tooth is completed after the pain is relieved for about 3 days. If necessary, oral cephalosporin or nitroimidazole antibiotics are administered to promote anti-inflammation. If there are hidden cracks on the surface of the crown, the cracks need to be abraded and then soothed with clove oil zinc oxide for analgesia and filled after pain relief, and when the cracks reach the pulp chamber, the pulp needs to be removed to complete the root canal treatment.
