Superficial vein thrombosis in upper limb can be relieved by local cold compress, anticoagulation therapy and surgery. 1. Local cold compress: If the patient has mild symptoms and redness, swelling and pain, he/she can choose local cold compress to relieve the pain, he/she can elevate the affected limbs under the guidance of the doctor and use cold towel to apply cold compress, which can alleviate the discomfort of the patient. 2. Anticoagulation therapy: patients with upper extremity superficial vein thrombosis resulting in arm pain should be actively given anticoagulation therapy, under the guidance of the doctor by taking medication for treatment, such as aspirin, clopidogrel, rivaroxaban and other drugs. 3. Surgery: If the symptoms are more serious, the patient can go to the hospital for venous thrombectomy, or venous filter implantation surgery and other ways of treatment.
