Lily and Dihuang Tang is known to nourish yin and clear heat (nourishing the yin fluid and clearing away heat), tonifying the heart and lungs.
Lily Dihuang Tang, from “The Essentials of the Golden Chamber”, is composed of lily and raw dihuang, with the effects of nourishing yin and clearing heat, tonifying the heart and lungs. It is mainly used for the treatment of Lily Disease with Yin deficiency and internal heat in the heart and lungs, which is characterized by trance, inability to eat or drink, desire to eat or not to eat; silence and speechlessness, inability to lie down, such as God’s spirit; cold or no cold, heat or no heat, bitter taste in the mouth, and reddish urination.
The adverse reactions of this product are not known at present. Note that it is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the constituents of this product, and should be used with caution by those with allergies. It should not be used by people with solid heat.
