Clinically, a moving hard lump to the touch of the breast is considered to be a breast fibroid, as a typical symptom of breast fibroids, the patient will present with a hard lump in the breast that has a more elastic feel to the texture. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the hard lump is very mobile, can be pushed within the breast and has no obvious adhesions to the surrounding tissues, and that the hard lump does not cause the patient to experience pain in the breast. Once a patient finds a breast fibroid, it is recommended that the patient undergoes early surgery to remove it. Although breast fibroids increase in size slowly, if the patient finds it before pregnancy, it is recommended that the patient undergoes surgery to remove it because the size of breast fibroids increases during pregnancy or after delivery, which affects the patient’s breastfeeding, so early detection and early removal is beneficial to the patient. It is also important to note that the mammary fibroids must be completely removed along with their envelope, and the patient’s hard lumps must be examined pathologically after the surgery, as some patients with mammary fibroids can develop malignant changes.
