Symptoms of Periodontitis

Periodontitis is characterized by red or swollen gums that bleed easily on probing, tartar plaque accumulation, periodontal pocket formation and attachment loss, accompanied by bad breath and periodontal abscesses.
1. Characteristic manifestations. Periodontitis is usually seen as accumulation of tartar on the gingiva and under the gingiva at the cervical region of the teeth, easy to bleed when brushing, bright red or dark red gums, easy to bleed and oedema, periodontal pockets can be accompanied by loosening or shifting of the teeth after the formation of periodontal pockets. There is attachment loss on probing.
2. Accompanying symptoms. If periodontitis is not treated in time, periodontal abscess may appear, the edge of the gum breaks down to discharge pus, and also accompanied by bad breath or root bifurcation lesions.
Periodontitis is a common clinical disease, it is recommended to seek medical attention as soon as possible to avoid aggravation of symptoms affecting periodontal health.
