After radiotherapy for cervical cancer, bladder inflammation can be recovered in about 6 months, some even need 2~3 years. Cervical cancer patients who cannot undergo surgery or incomplete surgical resection need to undergo radiotherapy, and the side effects of radiotherapy are relatively many, which may include inflammation of radioactive bladder and inflammation of radioactive rectum, and patients with radioactive cystitis may have frequent urination, bleeding in urine, most of them will get worse in 3~4 months after radiotherapy, and will recover to normal in 6 months or so. There is no good treatment for radiation cystitis, it is recommended to drink more water and prevent constipation, and some patients may return to normal after 2~3 years. Some patients may recover gradually after 2~3 years. For cervical cancer patients with radiation cystitis after radiotherapy, it is recommended to consult oncology department of regular hospitals.
