The normal urine volume for children aged 1-6 years is 0.3-1 liter per day; for children aged 7-12 years is 0.5-1.5 liter per day; and for adults is 1-2 liters per day. Abnormal urine output has the following three conditions: First, polyuria, more than 2.5 liters in 24 hours, commonly found in diabetes mellitus, uremia, neurogenic polyuria patients, etc.; Second, oliguria, less than 0.4 liters in 24 hours, commonly found in patients with dehydration, renal insufficiency, glomerulonephritis; Third, anuria, less than 0.1 liters in 24 hours, commonly found in patients with acute renal failure and uremia.
