Lymph node pain in the ear may be clinically associated with the following diseases, each of which is treated differently. In the first one, the pain occurs because of inflammation of the lymph nodes caused by otitis externa or otitis media. You can use ear drops, antibiotic infusion or oral and other anti-inflammatory treatments. Second, some patients have inflammation of the lymph nodes around the ear caused by mumps inflammation, accompanied by lymph node pain. In this case, patients are advised to go to oral surgery for anti-inflammatory and antiviral treatment. Third, some patients have inflammatory infections in the throat and neck space, and the infection invades the ear lymph nodes, causing lymph node pain. In this case, patients are advised to go to the ENT department for symptomatic treatment of pharyngeal diseases. If there is a local abscess, abscesses should be incised and drained, and if there is no abscess, anti-inflammatory treatment is needed and hormone therapy should be applied if necessary.
