Ovarian polyps are mostly related to inflammation, endocrine disorders, especially high local estrogen secretion, and may grow locally on the ovary, which is called a polyp. If the polyp is small, it does not cause clinical symptoms. If the polyp is relatively large, it may interfere with ovulation or cause menstrual disorders, and surgical treatment is recommended. Localized ovarian cysts may be physiological or pathological, physiological cysts are commonly found in follicular or corpus luteum cysts, which do not need to be treated clinically, while pathological cysts are of unknown etiology, but if the diameter of the cysts is greater than 5cm, timely surgical treatment is recommended. Small pathologic cysts do not have clinical symptoms, and it is recommended that women insist on annual health checks in their daily lives.
