Is it true that you can’t live with a heart attack?

Heart attack generally refers to acute myocardial infarction, heart attack really can not live, this statement is not correct. Acute myocardial infarction is an acute condition in which the function of the heart is impaired due to necrosis of the heart muscle caused by ischemia of the coronary arteries due to acute infarction. Generally speaking, acute myocardial infarction in the early stage without timely rescue and treatment, the risk of death will be relatively high. When resuscitated and treated appropriately, the risk of death from acute myocardial infarction decreases dramatically. If acute myocardial infarction is combined with serious complications, such as severe heart failure and acute perforation, the risk of death will be relatively high. Acute myocardial infarction does not necessarily mean death. Acute myocardial infarction requires prompt treatment, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) should be performed immediately to save the patient’s life when cardiac arrest is detected. If symptoms of myocardial infarction occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, and early formal treatment.
