Widening of forehead is a physiological phenomenon for some people and does not require special treatment, while for others it may be a pathological phenomenon and must be treated accordingly to ensure the health of the patient. It is a normal phenomenon for some adults to have a widened forehead, just like people’s body height, fat and thin, their face shape is big and small. Some of them may have widened forehead due to family genetic reasons, but there is no intellectual problem. If the widening of the forehead is accompanied by intellectual disability and other problems, it is a pathological phenomenon, and it is necessary to identify the cause and carry out symptomatic treatment. In infants and young children, if the widening of the frontal area is accompanied by a large head, it may be due to hydrocephalus or a tumor in the brain. Most of the congenital hydrocephalus is caused by intracranial inflammation during pregnancy, while brain tumor is a genetic mutation, both of which should be treated promptly.
