Live CPR steps

CPR steps: First, assess the patient, determine the patient’s consciousness, tap the patient’s shoulders with both hands, ask “what’s wrong with you”, confirm whether there is a loss of consciousness, no answer, immediately call for help. Second, judge the breathing, undo the patient’s shirt, see if there is an undulation of the thorax, feel whether there is air out of the mouth and nose, about 5 seconds. Third, determine whether there is a carotid artery pulsation, use the right index finger, middle finger from the middle of the airway, open two fingers in the sternocleidomastoid muscle in the anterior margin of the depression to confirm the presence of a pulse, no pulse immediately for CPR, resuscitation position for the pillow lying position, back pad hard, loosen the trouser belt. Fourth, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first, the site of external compressions at the midpoint of the line of the two nipples, the junction of the lower 1/3 of the sternum, with the root of the palm of the hand against the patient’s chest, overlapping the two hands, five fingers interlocked, fingers cocked, both elbow joints straight, with the weight of the upper body vertical downward compressions 30 times. Open the airway, place the patient in a supine position, observe the presence of a denture, tilt the head to the side, clear the mouth and nose secretions, reset the head, and perform artificial respiration using the tilt and lift method, pinching the patient’s nose during inspiration and releasing the fingers during exhalation to see the thorax rise and fall. The ratio of compressions to artificial respiration was 30:2, and 5 cycles of about 2 minutes were performed, and then the effect of resuscitation was judged.
