What causes a sore throat and tinnitus

Sore throat and tinnitus can be seen in laryngitis, otitis media, otitis externa and other diseases, which need to be examined by laryngoscopy, otoscopy, electroacoustic audiometry and other tests to clarify the cause of the disease.
Most of the symptoms such as sore throat and tinnitus appear at the same time, most of them may be due to the inflammation of the throat accompanied by otitis media, otitis externa and other diseases, and these parts may be triggered by the spread of bacterial or viral infections among each other.
Laryngoscopy can be used to observe the congestion of the mucous membrane of the throat and the presence of pharyngitis. Through the otoscope, we can observe whether the ear canal is congested and swollen, and whether the tympanic membrane is red and swollen, etc., to determine whether there is otitis externa or otitis media and other diseases.
If the sore throat or tinnitus is triggered by inflammation of the throat and ear, it can be treated with sensitive antibiotics to fight infection, such as amoxicillin capsules.
Sore throat and tinnitus require an ENT consultation to clarify the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions.
