There are two types of implantation after tooth extraction: first, implantation immediately after tooth extraction, which has more stringent indications and requires that the apices of the extracted teeth are free of inflammation and that the bone volume in the extracted surgical area is satisfied. If all the conditions are met, the implant nail can be placed in the extraction socket immediately after the tooth is extracted, and the implant period will be relatively shortened. Secondly, if there is inflammation in the root tip of the tooth to be extracted, the dental implant surgery should be performed three to four months after the tooth extraction. This is due to the fact that it takes three to four months for the extraction socket to recover after the tooth is extracted, and after all the inflammation has been eliminated, it is better to perform the implantation here. Dental implants are also divided into three cycles: phase I for the placement of the implant stud, phase II for the placement of the healing abutment, and phase III for the final restoration of the crown, a process that takes about four to six months.
