What does high right ventricular voltage mean?

Right ventricular hypervoltage, or right ventricular hypervoltage, is an electrocardiographic manifestation of right ventricular hypertrophy. The possible causes of right ventricular hypertrophy include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension, heart valve disease, etc. Patients with right ventricular hypertrophy will show right ventricular hypervoltage on ECG. However, high right ventricular voltage on ECG does not necessarily mean right ventricular hypertrophy. Some normal young people with thin body size and thin chest wall may also have high right ventricular voltage on ECG. If the patient’s ECG shows high voltage in the right ventricle, further tests such as echocardiography should be performed in consultation with a medical professional to determine whether right ventricular hypertrophy is present, and then further treatment should be planned.
