Sequelae of macular hemorrhage absorption

Sequelae after absorption of macular hemorrhage are commonly seen in the clinic, such as decreased visual acuity, fixed black shadows in front of the eyes, distortion of vision, recurrent hemorrhage and so on. If the macular hemorrhage is simple, most of it can be absorbed by itself, and after absorption, there is usually no sequelae. If the macular hemorrhage is caused by fundus lesions, trauma, etc., the hemorrhage may be accompanied by damage to the visual function of the macular area, therefore, even if the hemorrhage is completely absorbed, the same sequelae such as decreased visual acuity, fixed dark shadow in the center of the visual field, and distortion of vision may occur. If the primary lesion causing macular hemorrhage is not treated in time and neovascularization always exists, recurrent macular hemorrhage is very likely to occur. It is recommended that patients with macular hemorrhage seek medical attention in a timely manner and follow medical advice.
