Neurofibromas can be cured. A neurofibroma is a tumor tissue formed by an abnormal proliferation of the outer envelope of the nerve fiber. It can be removed surgically, but sometimes the nerve may be damaged. However, for the sake of the overall survival of the patient, such functional damage is acceptable and basically curable. However, it is important to clarify that there is a disease very similar to neurofibromatosis, called neurofibromatosis, which is a genetic disease with no cure, and it can develop wherever nerve fibers grow. The disease cannot be treated at the root, but can only be treated symptomatically to reduce the patient’s pain, so it is important to distinguish the most basic diagnosis. If it is a neurofibroma it can be cured, if it is a neurofibromatosis it cannot be cured.
