What’s wrong with teenage back acne

Teenage back acne may be caused by acne, folliculitis and other reasons.
1. Acne: teenagers due to physical development, the body androgen secretion is exuberant, and androgens lead to sebaceous glands produce more sebum, if not cleaned in a timely manner, sebum and shed epidermal tissue will be mixed with clogged pores, which can induce acne on the back, characterized by pimples, papules, pustules, often accompanied by overflow of oil from the skin.
2. Folliculitis: mostly caused by bacterial infection, but also can be caused by fungal folliculitis secondary to bacterial infection. Sweating, scratching, bad hygiene habits are common triggering factors, manifested as red follicular papules, with the condition can appear pustules.
If teenagers have acne on their backs, parents are advised to bring them to the hospital in time to clarify the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment.
