The functional exercise after humeral head fracture is divided into two cases: 1. For patients with conservative treatment, the shoulder joint should not be moved temporarily because the shoulder is given a plaster brace or external fixation with a triangular scarf, at this time, the exercise should be based on the active contraction of the upper limb muscles, which is beneficial to reduce swelling and avoid muscle atrophy. After 8 weeks, if there is obvious growth of bone scab, only then can we start active functional exercise of climbing the wall and lifting the shoulder. 2.After fracture, we can use surgical internal fixation treatment, which is relatively firm and does not require plaster and splint fixation after surgery. The active muscle contraction and shoulder and elbow joint mobility exercises can be performed on the second day after surgery under the guidance of a physician or a rehabilitation therapist.
