Cerebral infarction patient’s hand scratching in bed may be related to the infarction site, vascular dementia and so on.
1. Infarction site: such as frontal lobe infarction, there may be primitive reflexes such as strong grasping and crying; temporal lobe infarction may cause hallucinations, which may lead to the phenomenon of hand grasping.
2. Vascular dementia: Cerebral infarction can lead to cognitive dysfunction, and in severe cases, it can develop into dementia, and patients with dementia can have abnormal mental behaviors, such as gibberish and hand grasping.
