Thyroid cancer patients can eat eggs after surgery. Eggs are mainly composed of protein and cholesterol, and there is no clinical evidence that eating eggs will lead to recurrence or metastasis of thyroid cancer, so patients with thyroid cancer can eat eggs after surgery to increase nutrition, and eating eggs won’t cause recurrence and metastasis of thyroid cancer. As the most common malignant tumor of thyroid gland, thyroid cancer is preferred to be surgically resected once the diagnosis is clear, i.e. radical resection of thyroid cancer. Patients can choose total resection of the affected side plus isthmus resection, plus subtotal resection of the contralateral side, and at the same time, carry out neck lymph node clearance, and combine with postoperative chemotherapy and even radiotherapy, which can achieve the purpose of cure. Since the exact cause of thyroid cancer is not clear, a light diet and avoidance of high-fat food are advocated after surgery.
