Dangguixiang granules and Morodan drug composition has some overlap, drug efficacy is also partially similar, is generally not recommended to take together, should follow the doctor’s advice to choose the appropriate medication to take.
1. The ingredients of Dang Gui Xiang Granules are roasted Astragalus, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Sinapis, Saffron, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, etc., which can activate blood circulation and relieve pain, dissipate coldness and move qi, and benefit qi, warmth and stomach.
Dang Gui Xiang Granules can be used to treat abdominal distension, belching (belching), poor appetite (poor appetite), gastric fullness (stomach distension and discomfort) pain caused by spleen and stomach cold, blood stasis, and patients with chronic atrophic gastritis belonging to the above patterns can also use this product for treatment.
Occasionally, some patients may experience mild gastric discomfort after taking this product. It is contraindicated in pregnant women and patients with excessive menstruation, and should be used with caution in patients with a tendency to spontaneous hemorrhage, or in patients with heat syndrome or yin deficiency and fire.
2. The ingredients of Morodan are lily, Xuan Shen, Angelica sinensis and Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, etc. It has the efficacy of clearing pain, strengthening the spleen, eliminating flatulence, harmonizing the stomach and lowering rebelliousness (harmonizing the stomach qi and making the upward reversal of qi to descend), and it can be used for the treatment of heartburn, belching, dullness (lack of appetite and decreased food intake), stomach pain, etc. The adverse effects of Morodan are not known.
The adverse reactions of Morodan are not clear, patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited, and patients with allergies should be cautious. During the medication, patients should eat a light diet, avoid spicy, greasy and cold food, avoid tobacco and alcohol, avoid sulking and emotional excitement.
Dangguixiang Granules and Morodan have some overlap in drug composition, such as both have Chuanxiong, Angelica sinensis, Wu Yao, etc., the combined use may lead to dose overdose.
