Cough can affect the results of chest X-ray for medical examination. Cough is mostly caused by acute upper respiratory tract infection, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, mostly caused by infection with bacteria, viruses, atypical pathogens. If the cough lasts longer than a week, thickened, disturbed and increased lung texture will be seen on the chest X-ray or chest x-ray, all suggesting inflammation in the bronchial tubes. Therefore, if you have a cough and need to have a health checkup or an entry-level physical examination, it is recommended to wait until the cough improves or heals so as not to affect the results of the physical examination.
