What is typhoid fever?

Typhoid in Chinese medicine is divided into the broad sense of typhoid and the narrow sense of typhoid, the former is the general term for all exogenous diseases, and the latter refers to the diseases that occur due to the sensation of external wind and cold, and the sensation is immediate. Typhoid fever has a broad and narrow division, “difficult classic – 58 difficult” said: “typhoid fever has five, there is a stroke, there is a typhoid fever (feeling cold caused by fever disease), there is a wet temperature (feeling damp heat caused by temperature), there is fever, there is warm disease”. From the content of the above ancient books, it can be seen that the broad sense of typhoid fever is a general term for all exogenous fever diseases, including stroke, typhoid fever, wet temperature, fever, and warm disease, while the narrow sense of typhoid fever is a cold disease in exogenous fever. Zhang Zhongjing’s “Treatise on Typhoid Fever” at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty is based on the narrow sense of typhoid fever. If you suspect that you are suffering from typhoid fever or have any physical discomfort, you should seek medical advice and take medication under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner, rather than taking medication on your own to avoid delaying your condition or having adverse reactions.
