Single nostril nosebleed may be frequent nose picking, unilateral nasal hemangioma, nasopharyngeal cancer and other reasons.
1. Frequent nose picking: the surface of nasal mucosa contains a large number of small and fragile capillaries, and people who have the habit of frequent nose rubbing and nose picking, when used for unilateral nostril, can easily lead to rupture of blood vessels in the nasal mucosa of the side and bleeding.
2. Unilateral nasal hemangioma: a kind of benign tumor originated from vascular tissue, most of them are nasal capillary hemangioma, and very few of them are cavernous hemangioma. When unilateral nasal cavity develops, it manifests as unilateral repeated nosebleed.
3. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma: a common malignant tumor originated from mucosal tissues of nasopharynx, with local infiltration and invasion of cancer tissues, leading to massive destruction of tissues, coupled with bleeding from cancerous tissues vesicles and so on, leading to nosebleed, which can be manifested as persistent unilateral pus and blood snot, and in advanced stage, it can be bilateral nosebleed.
Unilateral nosebleed may be related to many factors, and it is recommended to consult doctor for clear diagnosis.
