Glycine insulin is a long-acting insulin that can usually be injected once a day to provide the body with basal insulin. The expected blood glucose level, the dose of glucagon and the time of administration must be determined and adjusted individually, and it is recommended that glucagon insulin be used under the supervision of a physician. Glucagon can be used in combination with short-acting insulin, rapid-acting insulin analogs and oral medications, depending on the patient’s condition. The exact mode of use and dosage should be in accordance with the doctor’s instructions. During the first few weeks of glucagon use, blood glucose should be monitored closely and the dose adjusted promptly. Hypoglycemia and hypersensitivity to glucagon or any of the excipients in its injection solution are contraindicated. If diabetes mellitus is diagnosed, follow your doctor’s instructions for treatment.
