Diabetic retinopathy surgery and hospitalization related issues

Patients with diabetic retinopathy come to our hospital and register for an appointment first, either in advance, that morning, or with an additional doctor. After the outpatient examination, a comprehensive pre-operative physical examination is performed. When the results of the physical examination are available, you will see the doctor to see the results, get a hospitalization certificate, and wait for your hospitalization. The checkup usually takes 1 to 2 days, and the hospitalization period varies from 1 to 3 weeks, so you can leave your contact information and wait at home. Vitrectomy surgery is usually around 10,000. If silicone oil is injected, silicone oil will be removed later, which will cost about 7-8,000, and in some cases, silicone oil will be removed in combination with cataract surgery, which will cost more than 10,000. The hospital stay is usually about 5 days to 1 week each time. The surgery is only part of the treatment, and many patients need laser treatment after the surgery, and only when the fundus is completely stabilized can it be considered successful.
