Side effects of ovulation injections

Ovulation promotion injections clinically mainly include injectable chorionic gonadotropin, which is mainly used by women to induce ovulation in low fertility due to cessation of ovulation or poor follicular maturation, and its side effects are as follows. 1. Reactions to the injected portion include abrasions, pain, redness, swelling and itching. Occasionally, there are allergic reactions, most of which are pain or rash at the injection site, and systemic rash or fever rarely occurs. 2. Ovarian hyperstimulation and symptoms, clinical manifestations include gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea; breast pain and mild to moderate ovarian enlargement and ovarian cysts, and rarely life-threatening severe ovarian hyperstimulation occurs. Ovulation stimulation injections need to be used in strict compliance with medical advice and should not be self-administered.
